Happy National Volunteer Week!

Youth Science Canada wants to celebrate National Volunteer Week by thanking all of our wonderful and dedicated volunteers. Without their incredible support, Youth Science Canada would not be able deliver on its mission to engage Canadian youth in scientific discovery.

Fired by the collective energy of over 8,000 volunteers – educators, scientists, engineers and parents across a network of over 100 regional organizations –you help Youth Science Canada capture the imaginations of young Canadians and broaden their access to science.

We are also very pleased to celebrate the 2014 Distinguished Service Award recipients. Thank you for your outstanding contribution through innovation, long service and leadership! The 2014 award recipients are:

-       Alison Davidson, Barrie, ON

-       Joe Eley, Saskatoon, SK

-       Kevin Frankham, Fort St. John, BC

-       Rhonda Phillips, Regina, SK

-       Devon Ross, Port Coquitlam, BC

-       Darcy Verbeurgt, Cranbrook, BC
