On January 30, 2013, Google launched the third annual Google Science Fair. This online science competition is open to young people aged 13 to 18 from around the world - working as an individual or in a team. It offers young people the chance to explore an area of science that they're passionate about - and compete for prizes, scholarships and once-in-a-lifetime experiences. Read more

Workshops across Canada and at conferences paled in comparison to this week's Inquiry by the Bay gathering in Barrie, Ontario. Two days of workshops in six strands gave teachers, from all over the continent, the opportunity to mix with the like-minded. Read more
